पिक्रिक अम्ल एक कार्बनिक यौगिक है।इसका आईयूपीएसी नाम 2,4,6-र्टाई नाईर्टो फिनोल ( टीएनपी ) है। “पिक्रिक” नाम ग्रीक πικρός ( पिक्रोस ) से आता है, जिसका अर्थ है “कड़वा”, जो इसके कड़वे स्वाद को दर्शाता है। यह सबसे अम्लीय फिनोल में से एक है ।
